Applications are invited for a talented individual to the post of Design Visualiser. The successful candidate will be responsible for the communication of our research activities across a range of media. Possessing excellent 2D and 3D computing skills across a broad range of applications, you will have a well developed visual sensibility and be able to communicate in traditional and digital contexts. You will be charged with translating creative ideas into a tangible form suitable for dissemination to a range of audiences - both academic and non-academic. Strong graphical and communication awareness, as well as an ability to design for a range social media and web-based applications are necessary. An understanding of emerging trends in digital communication technologies would be advantageous

ImaginationLancaster conducts applied and theoretical research into people, products, places and their interactions. Linking across discipline boundaries, the lab uses innovative research strategies combining traditional science, social science methods and practice based research which arises from the arts. We undertake significant research projects funded by UK research councils and the European Commission and collaborate with both the public and private sector. Visualisation and communication skills are key to our research activities and delivering impact we are therefore looking to appoint a key member of staff - a Design Visualiser.
