I am a postgraduate student undertaking a Masters degree in Information and Library Studies at Loughborough University. I am currently undertaking research for my dissertation to explore the definition of what makes a young adult book and whether young adult books should be classified for content similarly to films.
I am now looking for volunteers among public and school librarians and would be grateful if you would consider participating in an interview. The face-to-face (or by telephone depending on your location) interview will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will explore your experience with and opinions regarding young adult books.
With your permission the interview will be recorded and a transcript of the interview will be sent to you after the interview. All data will be anonymised and will be stored and processed on a secure system.
This research has been approved by the University’s Ethics Committee.
If you have any enquiries about me and the research process, please do not hesitate to contact me at email: [log in to unmask] or my supervisor Dr. Adrienne Muir, email: [log in to unmask]
Thanks very much for your help.
Yours faithfully,
Alisha Hasson
