Hi everyone,
I am doing my little study and I had a few questions.
I have looked at a recent meta-analysis on the topic and has made all the changes they recommend. Like having the testers blinded, using a core outcome measure that is patient-oriented and has been considered the most valid and reliable to measure that particular variable, did a power analysis and such.
1.What is the usual way of training testers and making sure they are doing it right? Do they have to do a reliability test?
2. And any books you recommend for conducting studies?
And if anyone is curious, the study is on older folks to improve function by comparing two weight training regimen. I have more questions, but I will ask later. If you have any experience on this topic, please email me.
I really want to do a good job, and don't want it to be another study that was done to put my name on.
Thank you so much
