Hi fellow EIUG members,
We are in the early stages of planning the upgrade of our LMS from
Millennium 2009B R1.5 to 2011 R1.4, with Innovative support remotely
carrying out the process for us from the US.
I wanted to ask those of you that have already moved from 2009B to
2011 what your experience of this process was including the following
details if possible:
a) If you used Innovative support to carry out the upgrade process,
what was lead time from initial request until upgrade start.
b) How long did the actual upgrade process take and what length of
service downtime was experienced.
c) How long and complicated was the post upgrade testing and verification.
d) Did you encounter any significant issues with the upgrade process
or system operation afterwards.
e) How did you find the overall upgrade experience generally.
