Dear fellow cultured technologists,
We've just given the MCG website a bit of a refresh.
http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/
The main difference it's now responsive so the display should be much easier to read on your mobile device of choice. It's tested on Samsung and Chrome Android browsers, iOS on iPhone, iPad and iPad mini and recent desktop versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.
In the MCG spirit of getting the biggest user benefits out there as the priority, there might be one or two style or layout issues that have been overlooked, so feel free to let us know, but the overwhelming objective was to get it mobile-friendly now and we'll iron out any glitches as we go
There have been a few other minor layout tweaks. When we last asked for your feedback, the most popular forum for MCG engagement was the MCG discussion list (90% of respondents) followed by Twitter (27%) . Accordingly, we have altered the site to highlight these more clearly.
Disclaimer - I say we. It's really been me hacking away at a Wordpress theme, so I will hold my hand up and take the rap for anything that has gone awry in the process. Nothing like the thrill of making service improvements live - scary but strangely compelling - beta in action :)
