Wellcome Library (London, UK) is recruiting a Web Producer for a 2-year fixed term contract - do you or someone you know fit the bill? Who we're seeking:
We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented web producer who is enthusiastic about creating engaging digital content for a variety of audiences. As part of the Library's editorial team, this person will help us to build website sections relating to our digitised content, ranging from 19th-20th century public health reports, to medieval medical manuscripts, to archives relating to neuroscience and beyond.
Successful applicants will:
* have experience scheduling and managing a web or print production process, from brief to delivery
* be a confident user of content management tools and blog platforms to put text, images and video online
* know their way around Google Analytics
* be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an open and transparent way
* be a champion for user-centred online content
* work to a high standard to meet project deadlines
* demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
* be technically adept with a willingness to do first-line troubleshooting and bug tracking
* seek out and implement innovative ways to manage our production and editorial processes
* preferably have a minimum of two years' post-degree work experience; work in a library, archive, museum or other cultural heritage organisation would be advantageous.
We offer a salary of c£28k per annum plus excellent benefits, including many professional development opportunities. This is a 2-year fixed term contract.
