As both a musician and a librarian I'm a bit cynical about this service
as it comes at quite a cost to both the library service and the artists.
With Spotify readily available and used by millions I can't see how this can
compete. The application has many bugs and is not easy to use and the
choice of music compared to Spotify and other free services is poor. It is
trying to re-invent the cart.
I just don't see it as a worthwhile investment at present, and worry many
library services will spend their book funds on this as they try to keep
appear modern and forward thinking, but not realise the use will be very low.
Just my tuppence worth!
