Hi
We place a card on their desk with their name and the number of extra minutes they have. When I do the announcements I say: "End times will be posted up here (pointing to the wall behind me) and a 5 minute warning will be given. People with extra time, please calculate your own end time". Then later an invigilator will give the ones with extra time a warning before their end time. All tables are tagged by a yellow sticker so all invigilators know they have extra time and can quickly see how much by looking at the extra time card on the desk.
Works well. By the way the cards with their name and the text 'Minutes extra time' are laminated so are used over and over again.

Dear All
I have received several complaints this Summer from staff and students to say that if they have additional time in their exam can the start and finish time be written on the board.
We currently do not identify any students who have access arrangements in a main room, only the invigilator knows who there are and what arrangement it is, but at the end of the exam when the invigilator asks the students to stop writing he or she also says but anyone who has additional time please continue.
Could I ask what other colleges do as this has never really been an issue for us before??
Thanks
