Hi
I think this is something for higher powers than a lowly exams officer.
It looks like a tiff between students to me. Do the two have had a
fight? Yes it could have rubbed off.
If she falsely accuses someone then that has to be dealt with to.
We had students a couple of years ago with similar coursework. One
accused the other of copying. Our principal decided they both had to do
it over. There had been a history of agro between the two.

I think I've done all the investigating I possibly can, but before I
report to the course manager, please can I have your advice on what to
do with a report from a candidate (via an invigilator) about another
candidate referring to writing on their hand during an AAT exam?
The candidate making the accusation refused to come to the exams office
to come to see us directly however I've got a message to call her back
now so she's obviously still thinking about it now she's got home.
The two invigilators on duty I believe were vigilant and didn't see
anything to suggest malpractice, and even saw the accused's hands at the
end of the exam, just after the report from the accuser, and saw they
were clean. It is however a hot day, and it's possible any ink would
have rubbed off.
What would you do other than reach for the gin? :)
