Dear colleagues,
The third 'Stand up, dear city' walking workroom is fast approaching. If you are in Bristol this coming weekend and you are interested in exploring the smaller side of the city then please get in touch to book a place for the walk (info below). There are still a few spaces left.
#######################
M I N I A T U R E will take Stand up, dear city on an exploration into the infinitesimal - or at least into those sites which require us to strain a little to see. The workroom will celebrate parts of the city which are smaller than we often care to pay attention to e.g. dusty corners, pavement fissures, cracks in walls. We will also question just what it means to see ourselves in a miniature manner and what the resulting possibilities are of this diminutive thinking.
This will be city exploration on the tiniest level.
Meeting point: Beatroot Cafe, Lower Park Row, Bristol, BS1 5BN (near the top of Christmas Steps)
Date: Saturday 18th May
Time: 11:00am until 2:00pm
£5 - includes a hot drink on arrival, all materials for the walk and soup and bread afterwards.
More information about the 'Stand up, dear city' project and the previous walking workrooms, can be found on the 'Stand up, dear city' Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/standupdearcity
Kind regards,
Tom Stone
