I would say that Luke doesn't understand the post. having been a manager
of many creative (and difficult) people, i find much in the blog to agree
with.

Do not rely on Luke's summary of the seven points. You will get the wrong
impression: read the actual blog. (Note that number 5 "Pay them poorly"
now has that phrase crossed out (still visible, but with a horizontal
strikeout line).) (The editors of the blog said they did some revisions to
make the points more understandable.)
It's a good blog I support it. I suspect most of the readers of this
discussion group will hate it. But as someone who has managed several
hundred creative people in both University research labs and industry
(Apple), those guidelines are very similar to ones I developed and followed
(and learned from my mentors).
