Dear All
Am just emailing to confirm I agree with pretty much everything Richard
says in his blog. It makes no sense at all to me to include qualitative
evidence but not include well designed single case material (e.g. ABAB and
multiple baseline). And to suggest you need 400 kids in a trial seems
crazy.
NICE seems to me to be very well funded but it also seems to have
developed some rather rigid procedures. I am only just getting to
understand how it works.
At present I am finalising the Scoping document for the LD and CB
guidelines, with the feedback from the Scoping workshop a few days ago. I
will keep this email group informed as we go along.
