Dear all - apologies for x-posting. We currently have a job advertised at the following address:
https://jobs.exeter.ac.uk/hrpr_webrecruitment/wrd/run/ETREC107GF.open?VACANCY_ID=2392907qSA&WVID=3817591jNg&LANG=USA
In the first instance this is a short-term post to help finish off a grant (Biosecurity borderlands) but there is also an 18 month post following on from this and which relates to the ESRC-funded Transforming Social Science grant "Contagion". The latter will involve explorations into reality mining in viral and social media data sets, as well as thinking through the social and theoretical issues which relate to new forms and spaces of more than social contact.
So if you are interested in exploring new methods in Geography/ Social Science/ Digital Sociology, and have expertise in social epidemiology, actor network theory, virality etc etc then please do apply.
Many thanks
Steve
