thanks, Tom.
this is not a journal i see references to very often, so i don't remember the
results of my last search for on-line copies.
rather like those multiple Microsoft FoulUps which one only comes across every
6 months or so, which take a coupla hours to figger out how to Work Around and
don't occur again until one has had time to totally forget what the hell the
Solution one finally found previously actually was.
i see now that IU's online catalog lists only this
01/01/2010 to present in Brepols Journals Online
and yet, and yet, IU does subscribe to the PAO.
but i have to jump through some Hoops (maybe because i'm in Indianer) to get
to it
http://www.libraries.iub.edu/scripts/countResources.php?resourceId=1854914
and to the Viator page in it
http://pao.chadwyck.com/journals/displayItemFromId.do?QueryType=journals&QueryIndex=browse&BackTo=Find%20Journals&ItemID=d441&journalID=d441
and, sure nuf, there the complete run is --up to 2000.
so, the single listing in IUCAT ("Brepols Journals Online") needs to be
supplemented by adding the PAO resource.
no, wait, i made the mistake of clicking on the *first* hit in the catalog,
and that one only gives the Brepols reference.
but [duh] clicking on the *third* hit yields (eventually) the PAO.
this is one of those little "errors" in the on-line catalog which someone who
speaks Lieberian could easily fix.
but me, i don't speak that particular dialect --as i discovered whenever i
brought several very real errors in the thing to the attention of some
reference guys some years ago, when i was older and much more of an Optimist
than i am now that i'm younger.
never were fixed, those "cataloging" errors --eventually one of the guys told
me, with a shake of his head, that there really wasn't any clear means to
correct errors in the digital catalog and that, yes, it was a shame that the
Powers that Be had made the Decision to ***THROW AWAY*** the old, hard copy
Card Catalog.
but, he said, they needed the space, dontcha see?
for Computers.
clearly, Lieberry Science is quite beyond my powers of kenning.
thanks again, Tom.
