We are looking out for designers interested in cognition, creativity and
children to spend time in our small school near Pune- india. As design is
the only profession where one is trained to 'see' and also to understand
the 'now' they would be in a position to SEE how the child learns. We are
proposing to ask all accepted questions about learning, cognition, play,
beauty afresh- from ground zero. We wish to re examine Why children learn?
What children learn? How children learn?
The various findindings in the neuro and cognitive sciences are telling
several unbeleivable abilities about children and unfortunately all that
knowledge is being used for developing more 'intellegent' machines and
leaving the child to rot in the 'smart' schools. paradox is that we learn
from children about creativity etc and use it against them as they are
totally helpless.

The school is run based on the fact that children are equipped to learn and
we, adults needs to sensitively create conditions, space, situation to make
