School of Music : Lecturer
The School of Music is a large and successful department with an
established record of international research and teaching. Following the
award of a Major Research Fellowship to Professor David Wyn Jones by the
Leverhulme Trust, it is seeking to appoint a Lecturer for a fixed two-year
period to undertake teaching and associated duties.
Candidates should have teaching capability in two or more of the following
areas: Analysis and Theory, Composition, Harmony and Counterpoint, and
History and Critical Studies. Candidates with an interest in Film Music
and/or Jazz are particularly welcome.
The post is fixed-term for two years and is ideal for an early career
candidate.
Salary: £30424 - £36298 per annum (Grade 6).
