AHRC Research Centre for Musical Performance as Creative Practice (CMPCP)
The definitive programme for the Second International Conference of CMPCP's
Performance Studies Network is available at
<http://www.cmpcp.ac.uk/conference2.html> www.cmpcp.ac.uk/conference2.html.
Abstracts and other information will be available on the site before Easter.
The keynote session by the Britten Sinfonia will consist of an interactive
open rehearsal of several pieces which will then be performed in a concert
for conference delegates, followed by discussion amongst the performers. The
conference dinner at St John's College on Friday 5 April will feature a
musical 'coda' which should be a highlight of the entire event.
Additional delegate spaces have been made available at Robinson College
owing to high demand. To book please complete the online registration
process, following the guidelines set out at
<http://www.cmpcp.ac.uk/conference2.html> www.cmpcp.ac.uk/conference2.html,
where further information about the conference is also available including
the conference programme.
