My copy of Keyser's Mural and Other Painted Decorations came from Keesinger and was fine, but I think others haven't been so lucky.

Hello Meg,
I'm not at all sure it was this publisher, since the increasing number of people who do this sort of thing are not very up-front about who the heck they are, but I recently bought such a book, many pages of which were completely unreadable. It was like a very bad photocopy. I have had better luck with other such books I have bought, but the production values in general are not high. Another thing I dislike about them is that they apparently have a limited range of cover photographs, and I find it somewhat off-putting to receive a book on, say, Blanche of Castille, with a photo of a sailboat at sunset on the cover.
Cheers,
Jim

Hi!
I'm wondering if anyone on the list has experience with ordering "print on demand" books from this publisher? Their prices certainly beat the used book market, but I'd like to know what I'd be getting. I've seen
some reprinted books that have major problems with typos, bizarre changes in font size, pages missing, etc.
If you would prefer to communicate off list, my email is

Thanks in advance,
Meg
PS For those with rare book libraries, there's a copy of Grant Loomis's "White Magic" on ebay fof $650!
