In 2013, ASLIB is offering a range of workshops in Cataloguing and Classification for information professionals at all levels, and in a choice of formats, led by David Bawden, a professor of Information Science at City University, London.

THESARUS BASICS – 16 April 2013 – This course introduces the ideas behind the thesaurus, the most sophisticated gold-standard controlled vocabulary for information organisation and retrieval.
