Dear Rajesh
I have done paleostress analysis in Lesser Himalaya Kumaun while doing
my PhD. I have some papers published on the same work. I am refering
you one o f the papers where we use cluster analysis to sort out the
population of faults. I hope this will help you out.
Srivastava, D. C. and Shah, J., 2008. Limitations of conjugate
fractures and scope of reactivated faults in palaeostress analysis.
Journal Geological Society of India, 71, 303-312.
As you are from IIT Roorkee, you can ask Professor DC Srivastava for
the same. He was my PhD supervisor and an expert in this analysis.
Regards,
Jyoti Shah
