I cannot blame you for this post, since I seem to have the same feelings
towards this discussion list that you highlight here ... but, I am still,
for the moment, the stubborn soul that thinks, perhaps wrongly, that it can
make a point in such a way that someone takes it seriously enough to think
about it ... and even when my articles have been "admitted" to the
"publishing world" they seem to be not the catalysts that I had hoped they
could be ....
... and to forestall any of the common-place and hammer-like comments that
follow what sounds like a definitive "I am the best" boast ... I have
observed these reactions to "natural outbursts" since I was in primary
school ... and I have discovered myself to be a cybernetic observe ..
I am NOT an Einstein, but neither am I a unit that simply absorbs what
comes its way ....
"Natural outbursts" = are apparantly (in these days of political
correctness) regarded as "wrong" ... even when the action directed against
you is as all hell let loose ... (even when done quite quitely) ... !!!
... which brings us to the question of whether the accredited world of
scientific (design) publication really does serve the greater design
community, including the real community that makes any difference, i.e.,
the everyday person that is the "target" of the "design message"
... if this discussion list cannot see iself as inclusive of the
(biological + real) people that drive the incentives of the list, then what
is the use of he list???
