Hi Chelsea
I would echo the two weeks rule. Also, you may be able to get individuals to share readers - depending on what their normal way of working is...
Give me a call if you want me to talk you through it but you may find this cuts down on resources.
Thanks

Thanks you Sue for this, it's helpful to get an idea of what other colleges are doing.
Hope all is well in Plumpton? It must be a nice place to work.

I ask for 2 weeks notice minimum and 4 weeks notice at busy times.
We also have to schedule those with access arrangements at a different time as we do not have enough rooms.
Students are allowed a couple of re-sits at the moment as they run out of time to do any more.
Kind Regards

Subject: Online testing
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well on this rather grim old morning! This is my first post on the network so I would be grateful for any feedback.
We are a vocational college and it is now very apparent that due to lack of staff our online, on demand testing procedures need tightening up (a bit too on demand at the mo) and I was wondering what notice your tutors are required to give you for scheduling online tests?
Also, do you have trouble accommodating access arrangements for these tests? We are averaging two learners out of a class who need a reader (in some it can be 6).
We are also struggling with re-sits, at the moment our learners have 3 attempts but this is becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of.
If anyone has an effective online re-sit policy, or tips - that would be really helpful?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chelsea
