Dear Jean-Herve,
Wolf Teegen (2006) has published an article about a peacock find from
Roman Augusta Treverorum (Trier) in which he summarises several
peacock finds (n = 13) from Northern Roman provinces from different
rural, urban and religous contexts. One additional find from a Roman
villa in Winterton, UK, is mentioned by Poole (2010). I can send you
Teegen (2006) off-list, if you are interested in that paper.
Best
Christian
