Might I request that you transmit private messages off-list? There is no need to inform 2,200 or so people that you'd like to meet one person, and there is no need for that one person to inform the rest of us that this is possible. Our emails to the list carry our direct email addresses. It's easy to grab the address to generate a direct, personal note. If you are away from your email system, you can also use the web-based PhD-Design system to send a reply ONLY to the person who wrote the message to which you reply.
When you add two complete reposts of a prior message and three footers, personal messages sent to the entire list carry more noise than signal.
