Vassilis Tsitsanis (1915-84) was one of the major figures of Greek popular
music. As a rebetiko composer, he had a huge recorded output - upwards of
500 titles - and he worked with great singers such as Sotiria Bellou and
Marika Ninou. You are invited to attend the first English-language
conference about Tsitsanis and his work.
