medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
thanks, Elaine.
i knew about Brasington, of course, and had seen notice of the Rolker.
but had foolishly not thought of them because they only dealt with "canon
law"
(duh).
the Barker dissertation i had not seen.
it's Rolker that i need to get my hands on, it would seem.
i could start here
http://books.google.com/books?id=TX1mMf03gNkC&lpg=PP1&dq=inauthor%3ARolker&lr&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is&as_brr=0&pg=PP1#v=onepage&q=bourgmoyen&f=false
though "Bourgmoyen" doesn't show up in a search.
Drat.

Sprandel,
although Sprandel did establish the basics of I.'s biography and a lot of
later lines of inquiry.
