Dear Colleagues,
This is just a reminder to colleagues working with music collections in the south-east that you are warmly invited to attend the next South East Music Libraries Information Forum. This is a great opportunity for staff working with music collections across different library sectors to come together to discuss common areas of concern.
Date: Wednesday 5th December 2012
Time: 2pm
Venue: Gerald Coke Handel Collection, Foundling Museum, 40 Brunswick Square, London WC1N 1AZ
Directions can be found here http://www.foundlingmuseum.org.uk/visit-us/journey-planner/
There is no charge for this event.
The meeting is open to anyone working with music collections whether this be in the public, academic, conservatoire or special library sector.
WE are pleased to welcome to this meeting two of Making Music’s regional development managers – Cicely Taylor (London) and Cat Duval (South East) – and we will spend part of the meeting exploring how libraries can work more closely with Making Music.
There will also be an opportunity to share best practice and areas of concern relating to music collections (if there are any specific topics you would welcome discussion on please let me know ahead of this meeting).
I would be grateful if you could let me know if you are planning to attend.
