I should expand on that really :) The tables mix regular fields and XML, and you can't treat them like any regular SQL database. The API is good, though (for read at least - haven't dared look at writing)

Hi Mike,
This is a little off topic, but I have been doing a fair amount of work
making dynamic use of TMS data within Mediawiki. In this case I have
been connecting to the SQL tables underneath TMS directly, rather than
using a specific API and this seems to have worked quite well.
Adlib can also be sitting over a set of SQL tables, so it may be worth
looking at whether you can access the information you need directly.
