Yet another technical issue to report, I'm afraid (and sent to [log in to unmask]).
I just retrieved and ran a saved search - instead of the expected
1
2
1 and 2
etc
It displayed:
1 MEDLINE (5-hydroxyindoleacetic AND acid).ti,ab 4102
2 MEDLINE exp HYDROXYINDOLEACETIC ACID/ 8314
3 MEDLINE 1 OR 1 9702
4 MEDLINE 1 OR 1 9702
5 MEDLINE 1 OR 1 OR 3 10734
1. Any idea how you COULD get it to combine 1 OR 1?
2. It seemed to pick up the results numbers properly, but very disconcerting. I tried to replicate it but of course the pop-up tells me to select at least two lines...
If HDAS is somehow going to edit a saved search, what is the point of saving? We need to be able to trust the integirty of the 'save' action, surely...
Screenshot attached.
Has anyone else seen/reported this?
I look forward to your comments.
Kind regards,
Mark Kerr
