Yup. Although there is an unmaintained tarball install on the cern stratum zero, I'm trying to find out if it is beyond resuscitation.
I do understand that if you cannot install the grid WN stack you may not be able to install cvmfs - but then it 'might' work to use the new nfs support.
But the point is that maintaining one central tarball 'might' work better.
