Swindon work with the WRVs to deliver our Home Library Service - we fund a part time volunteer coordinator post through the WRVS.
All our Home Library volunteers are required to join the WRVS who then carry out CRB checks and basic training as part of their membership process.
We have been doing this for several years and find that it works very well.
Please get in touch direct if you would like more details

Subject: Delivery of Home Library Services
I am interested in hearing from any local authorities who use a charity or another organisation to deliver their Home Library Service to housebound customers. Any information that you are able to provide would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
