In Leeds Library and Information Service, we are currently looking at how we deal with posters and leaflets from the public, organisations, charities etc. (we get asked to display rather a lot of them).
We’d really like to find out how other library authorities manage posters & leaflets, the following areas are of particular interest:
· Do you have a written poster & leaflet policy?
· What do you allow/refuse in terms of content of posters & leaflets? e.g. charities, commercial businesses, local
info. only?
. Do you have a community information folder
· How do you display posters? E.g. noticeboard, poster strings, in a folder etc.
· Do you display all posters for free or do you charge for some?
· Do you use digital signage or other technology to promote community information?
Happy to collate and share any response.
Thank-you
