Hi
We do not store any certificates. We send them once a year recorded to
the student and only keep the ones returned to us - about 30 at the
moment. After 5 years these will be destroyed. It is expensive so we are
charging £10 exam fees, which most people pay.
Kind regards

We don't store any certificates. They are posted out to the students,
expensive I know, although this may well change this academic year
though due to costs.

Subject: CERTIFICATE STORAGE
Hi all,
We are beginning to encounter a problem with our certificates here and
was wondering if any of you wonderful people out there can offer a
solution.
Background
Our certificates are held, at each campus, centrally in Campus Services
(alphabetically in suspended file drawers). It is now becoming apparent
that this is not ideal as, whoever is searching to retrieve and issue
certificates to students sometimes is not necessarily taking enough care
to ensure that the certificates remain in alphabetical order or, indeed,
in good condition.
We had thought of keeping individuals' certificates in poly-pockets and
held (alphabetically) within lever arch files, or similar, but his
brings up the problem of efficient space utilisation and appropriate
'furniture' to hold them securely.
Question
The question is, therefore, has anybody out there had a similar
experience and, even if you haven't, how do you store your certificates,
if different from the way we do it? All donations gratefully received.
Regards,
Colin Humphreys
