Good evening
As many of you already know I am a lone practitioner and at times have found my role very challenging. I have sat sometimes and wandered if I am doing the best I can and question if the advice I have given is appropriate, especially when faced with HR or managers and felt out numbered. Sometimes I have been hessitant in asking collegues on jisc mail for advice as felt that i may appear to be 'stupid'. Never have I been given anything other than positive comments however ridiculous my concerns may have seemed. i can honestly say that I would have been lost without the support of jisc mail over the past 18 months. Over time it has become more apparent to me that although alot of us work alone we are all facing the same problems or have faced them somewhere in our career. When days have been bad there is always someone who can brighten it up. So if you are new to jisc mail and are hessitant to write for advice - dont't be as it has been one of the most valuable learning tools for me. Thank you to all those who are always so ready to pass on their valuable knowledge.
