Dear all,
I had an interesting conversation with an academic member of staff yesterday who was absolutely incensed about the “unethical” business model that underpinned the use of WriteCheck. Being an expert in supply chain management she uses WriteCheck as an exemplar to show how student's scripts make up the paper database & in turn it is they that also pay to use the service to check scripts! I must admit I’d never really given it too much thought. But come to think of it……..
What do others feel about this purported unethical business model?
Do others have an assignment "open 24x7" for students to submit/check their scripts. Supervised or not?
Regards.
