Dear Umberto,
I am thinking about numerous red deer burials mainly found in France and Germany. In these cases the red deer might be tamed red deer used for hunting (bell hunting). In some cases deer are found with parts of harnesses and their tines were sawn.
One of the main article on this subject is:
Poplin, François. 1996.
I would be interested in knowing more about the context of the deer burial you found in Italy.
Best regards,
Rémi
