Further to Leutfrid:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the directions accompanying the link to the illustrated page on the originally twelfth-century église Saint-Leufroy at Thiverny (Oise) no longer apply. Further to Raymond of Roda:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the first of the three links to illustrated, Spanish-language pages on the church of Sant Climent de Taüll (Lleida) / San Clemente de Tahull (Lérida) no longer functions. Likewise no longer functioning are the link to the brief video of this church, the link to the page of details of its fresco of the Pantocrator, and the link to the brief video of the nearby church of Santa María de Taüll.
Today (21. June) is also the feast day of:
Thomas of Orvieto (Bl.; d. 1343). The cult of this Servite holy person is documented from at least 1463, when the city of Orvieto is on record as offering a candle annually on this day at his relics in that city's church of Santa Maria dei Servi. Biographical details about him were collected in the early seventeenth century: these present him as a pious lay brother, devoted to the BVM from childhood, who while serving his order's convent in Orvieto as a gatherer and distributor of alms was wont to give of his own small sustenance to the poor, bearing these sacrifices gladly. Miracles were attributed to him, of which by far the most outstanding concerns a pregnant woman to whom he was giving alms in winter: she communicated her desire to taste some sweet figs; after prayer he went out into the convent's orchard and there, despite the season, found a tree with a leafy branch bearing some ripe figs; these he broke off, wrapped in the leaves, and brought to the delighted woman. Thomas' relics were accorded recognitions at some point during the years 1698-1701 and again in 1738. His cult was confirmed papally, at the level of Beatus, in 1758.
Thomas of Orvieto as depicted (with figs) in the late fifteenth- or early sixteenth-century frescoes of Servite worthies in the sacristy of Orvieto's chiesa di Santa Maria dei Servi:
