Hi all,
This is what I was thinking (same as Dr. Car summarized and before I read
Greenhalgh) as I read the paper. I know in mental health for instance
telemedicine is too broad a topic for the range of ways interventions that
are mobilized. It seemed Trish Greenhalgh was saying that because the govt
was doing the study it was subject to bias since they are doing what they
can to reduce costs and the pressure on them is to meet targets. While
this may be true it is unfair to reject the body of work based on this
only.It would have been wise of them to have someone from outside and
blinded analyse the data and share what methods make the difference etc, I
wonder if this still could be done?
