Subject: Visitor Cards
Hello
Cumbria Libraries are looking at how we manage visitors, particularly in regard to access to people's network PCs.
For example:
• Do you insist that visitors become members in order to access PCs?
• Do you allow visitors full borrowing privileges?
• Do you insist on ID in order for visitors to join, will a library card from another authority suffices?
• If you charge for PC use, do you allow visitors the same concessions as local members?
Any feedback would be gratefully received.
Regards
Matt Browne
