Some may be interested in an ivory diptych, 7th c. Spain or first half
of the 8th c., that names Philip and Andrew as well as Peter and Paul.
This is the back of the Carolingian Harrach Diptych. I have always
thought that it had been cut down so that of the lower register with P.
and A., only the names remained; but on looking at it again now I am
suddenly struck by just how long and narrow the original diptych would
have had to be for that to be the case! Anyway, you can see both sides
on my location page for Köln,
