Did you convert your slide to jpeg from within PowerPoint?
If not, from within PowerPoint click "Save As" and then choose JPEG from the list of file type options in the "Save as type" box.
Kind regards
Seona Hamilton

There's certainly free PDF creating software like CutePDF
(http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp) that can be used on
PCs.
Best wishes,
Steve

There's probably a 'proper' way to do this, but assuming you don't
have Photoshop available, try:
1. display your slide full-screen in Powerpoint (View Slideshow)
2. Hit the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard
3. Open Microsoft Paint (Start / Programs / Accessories / Paint
4. Edit / Paste
5. File / Save As, making sure you select Jpeg format
This will produce only a screen resolution jpeg, which will look awful when
printed up.
If you have a Mac, you can print straight to pdf, then open the pdf in
Preview and convert to jpg at any chosen resolution. I imagine that on a PC
you will have to purchase PDF software, though I could be wrong.
