medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
For the Victorines, the two terms were largely synonymous. See for examples of usage, for instance, in the new volume 3 of Victorine Texts in Translation: Interpretation of Scripture, Theory, esp. note 1 on p. 255 and note 97 on p. 423.

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Could anyone direct me to bibliography exploring the liturgical/theological
terms "mysterium" and "sacramentum" in the late antique and medieval
periods, and to what extent they differ and overlap in meaning? I have not
been able to find much and would be most grateful for any help. -- Paul
