medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Herewith a link to an earlier 'Saints of the day' for 18. April (including Sts. Eleutherius and Anthia; St. Eusebius of Fano; St. Ursmar; St. Athanasia of Aegina; Bl. Herluca of Bernfried [or of Epfach]; St. Galdinus; Bl. Andrew of Montereale):

Further to Eleutherius (of Illyricum) and Anthia:
These saints were dropped from the RM (where they had been entered under 18. April) in its revision of 2001. In Orthodox and other Eastern-rite churches they or, in some instances, Eleutherius alone are commemorated on 15. December. Under this latter date a revised notice of them was included last year's 'Feasts and saints of the day' for 15. December <http://tinyurl.com/7d65h46>, with further visuals added later that month at <http://tinyurl.com/843ay8o>.
Further to Eusebius of Fano:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the first of the two views of the facade of Fano's cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta no longer functions. Use this instead:

In the same notice's consideration of the cathedral of Fano, the statement about Italia nell'Arte Medievale being off-line is happily no longer valid.
Further to Ursmar (Ursmer) of Lobbes:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the link to the single view of the collégiale Saint-Ursmer at Lobbes no longer functions. There are plenty of views at the pages led to by the other two links.
Further to Athanasia of Aegina:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, add to the link to the Google Books instance of Lee Francis Sherry's English-language translation of Athanasia's Bios this link to an open-access instance direct from Dumbarton Oaks:
