Hi,
Does Millennium always indicate the overdue fines that you were
expecting? Perhaps we are a bit over-ambitious, as we don't charge fines for
closed days and don't shorten loan periods when items are reserved, but
we've been comparing what we thought each fine should be and what it
actually is, and finding some odd inconsistencies. These mostly seem to be
to do with odd quirks of the system (admittedly mentioned in the manual)
which don't allow the flexibility in fines policy that we'd like. I've
raised these with III for advice already, but I wondered if this is a common
problem? Or does everyone fit their fines policy around the limitations of
the system rather than vice-versa?
