Hi Rachael,
I wonder if you might also be able to address the organisational drivers that have nurtured the development of that culture. For example could you get a clear statement from the person-at-the-top that they want people to (a) take their breaks, (b) stop work for that period, and (c) take them away from the computer?
Good luck
Kind regards
Kevin

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Sedentary Workers
Hi there
Sorry I think I may have slightly messed up on my previous posting - so I have reposted just in case!
I am working on topics for our Work Health Week, and one area that I would like to look at is office based staff.
We have a culutre (like many places i would suspect) that office based staff tend to eat meals at desks etc. I was wondering if anyone has worked on a similar topic in the past and/or if you are aware of any information on the eating at your desk scenario. Or even just general health advice for sedentary workers.
Many thanks
Rachael
