Lecturer in Music
Applications are welcome from candidates with a specialism in performance or composition. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules and developing provision, and will be engaged in a programme of creative research. S/he will also contribute to departmental administration.
Candidates must have a PhD (or be near completion) in Performance or Composition, or have substantial recent experience as a professional performer or composer, and be engaged in performance or composition activities of international excellence.
Salary will be within the range £32,751 – £44,016 per annum (pro rata), depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance. This full-time, permanent post is available from 1 September 2012.
