The Department of Hispanic Studies is a newly created unit within the University of Warwick.
£37,012 - £44,166 pa or £45,486 - £52706 pa or £45,486 - £55,908 pa
The University of Warwick wish to appoint one outstanding Assistant Professor and one outstanding Associate Professor or Associate Professor (Reader). An appropriate research record and trajectory are essential. You will have the ability to convert excellent and innovative research into the highest-quality published work, and have potential to initiate and manage successful research funding bids.
Appointment at Associate Professor (Reader) level may be made where there is strong evidence of outstanding contributions to internationally leading research as well as proven ability to provide leadership in a subject.
You will have experience of undergraduate teaching, and you will be expected to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students to the highest standard. You will have the ability and willingness to support and lead curriculum development appropriate to the level of appointment, and you will be expected to participate as appropriate in the administrative duties and management of the unit.
You will have a PhD or equivalent in Hispanic Studies or cognate discipline and excellent command of spoken and written Spanish and English. Your research may be in any relevant area.
