I was presenting some evidence that modelling rather than guesswork offers
benefits in areas of design that designers find particularly hard to address
successfully (including 'wicked problems'), and also described a quick and
simple means I had identified that enables designers to distinguish such
types of problem prior to attempting to identify design solutions.
There seem to be benefits to improve design outcomes, rather than as a
'sales tool' for designers to manipulate their customers.
