Hi Valentine Cochrane has a relatively new review out about recruiting for clinical trials: http://summaries.cochrane.org/MR000013/strategies-to-recruit-participants-to-randomised-trials Another which could be of interest: http://summaries.cochrane.org/MR000021/incentives-and-disincentives-to-participation-by-clinicians-in-randomised-controlled-trials I was asked to be a participant in a clinical trial and the recruiter didn't listen to my reasons why I couldn't (it needed a fully functioning bathroom and we didn't have one as we were renovating at the time) - just went on and on and then handed me the info pack and left. A tip: good communcation skills count! Catherine Voutier Clinical Librarian Melbourne Health email: [log in to unmask] Chair, HTAi Information Resources Group
