Systematic review of psychosocial interventions for ADHD in school settings (Ref. E1033/PMS2)
The PCMD wishes to recruit a Research Fellow to support the work of Tamsin Ford and the PenCLAHRC Evidence Synthesis Team. This NIHR HTA funded post is available immediately until 31st May 2013. You will carry out a series of systematic reviews of non-pharmacological interventions for ADHD in school settings.
The post will involve quantitative reviews of effectiveness and cost-effectiveness and qualitative reviews about factors that may enhance or impede the effectiveness of interventions. You identify and select papers meeting the inclusion criteria, carry out the data extraction and quality appraisal of identified papers and synthesise the findings from different studies. You will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
You will possess a relevant PhD and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of and experience in quantitative and/or qualitative evidence synthesis.
The starting salary will be £31,948 to £39,257 depending on qualifications and experience.
